Didn't see the twist coming at all! The ending was a bit off though, I think the twist and an explanation would have been a better ending.
I received an ARC of this book before it was published.
I was really surprised at the direction this book went in. It seems like such a sweet, cute book about a girl who is just trying to start over after moving to a new town, but it is actually so much more than that! It's impossible to read this book and not be shocked by the big twist of the story. You will never see it coming!
This is undeniably a well detailed, entertaining story that reaches it's climax with a satisfying slap in the face (keyword satisfying). I spent my Sunday in the good company of Lila, a complex and lovable character. Well done Ms. Powers!
