I agree with one the reviewers about being hooked from the first books and was pulled in all the way with this book. The third book in the Reunited Series... the author saved the best for the last one. I am hoping this is not the last of their stories. In this installment, Malik Lewis and Natasha Lockham had just dropped Quinn and Alandra off at the airport for their new life. Then after their one-night stand in La, Quinn was having problems getting over the good doctor months later. Little did Malik know Natasha was feeling him too. When a case drops in Malik's lap about a missing baby that the dead mother claimed he fathered, this pressed Malik into action to disprove her claim. A respected doctor at the hospital where Natasha was Chief of Staff became a leading suspect in the death of five women and their baby's disappearance. Later one of the nurses the doctor worked with was killed in a car explosion. Malik, Wiz and his crew tried to find the murderer and work to keep Natasha out of harms way in the process. Malik had to compete for Natasha's affection with her ex-husband and mysterious employee names Ray from the records department. An expert assassin was on the loose in Chicago, while Malik and his elite team was hard pressed to find him before more blood was shed. This story was a rollercoaster ride and an amazing love story. I have one complaint.....why didn't Quinn and Alandra come back to help or at least see about her Sister? That to me was unreal. The story was a nail butternut it was too easy to figure out the bad guy. Also there should have more warning of Stan and Paula's romance. All in all a good read
Malik and Tasha's story was great! I loved Malik's loyal friends and staff, and the way they protected Tasha. I lived Tasha's independent streak, and appreciated her agreeing to support when she needed it. Loved Malik & Tasha's attraction. A great read!
This book is the best in the series yet. I loved Malik to pieces. He's totally alpha male and a big teddy bear in one hot body! I loved Natasha's alpha female character too. She was a doctor but her character was stronger than her over emotional flip-floppy sister Alandra in book 2 who was a ex CIA operative. This book was totally action packed, humorous, and all the key players and staff kept me engaged. 8 Stars!!
Malik and Natasha are smoldering together! The chemistry is undeniable; the element of danger keeps you on the edge, but the relationships with all the characters were the deciding factor of giving this book 5 Stars.
When you can intertwine people's lives and it not feel so thrown together or unnecessary, you have a winner. Of course, the love scenes were beyond hot but there was so much more to them than gratuitous sex.
Malik made Natasha feel cherished and she made him want to move mountains for her....Kudos to the author!!!
OMG, Sharon Cooper never disappoints me. I love her writing style! This book was full of suspense, and true to Sharon Cooper's style, a beautiful love story. You get so caught up in the characters , you forget it's a book, but feel like you are right there watching each scene happen. I don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't read it. Let me just say... This is one you don't want to miss out on! I am part of S.T.A.R. book club, and we have read a lot of Sharon Cooper, one of our newer members had to go back and read some of the books because we were basically gushing over the books.
Well Ms. Cooper, you have done it again. I had no doubt that this awesome novel would be an excellent addition to the Reunited Series. The whole book was action packed adventurous, along with just enough romance mixed in to keep you reading. I want to find me a Navy Seals man. There are no words to explain how hot and sexy I thought Malik was. The only word comes to mind is YUMMY. I can barely wait for the continuing novels. I know there will be more. I can see them in this novel. Each one will be an awesome addition to this fantastic series. Kudos to you, Ms. Sharon Cooper on a job well done.
I luv Malik take charge attitude and don't give a you know what. Natasha was somewhat niave for someone in her position as a Chief of Staff. Her ex husband was very annoying and took too much liberties and she let him.
This book had everything, intrigue, suspense, and let us not talk about my boy Malik and Natasha chemistry. This plot was truly eye opening and scary on what some evil folks do.
Great read and looking forward to reading Wiz story.
